I²Lab EduTech – STEAM & Robotics
I²Lab EduTech – STEAM & Robotics is the educational innovation unit of I²Lab, the INEKA Innovation Lab. Continuing the legacy of the former AKETH Innovation Robotics Lab (AIRLab), it empowers children and young people through STEAM education, robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, maker activities, and hands-on interdisciplinary projects.
Through experiential and project-based learning, students develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and the confidence to solve real-world problems.

Shaping the Future through STEAM, Robotics & Creativity through
Science, Technology & Creativity
I²Lab EduTech – STEAM & Robotics creates an inspiring learning environment where children and young people explore science, technology, creativity, and innovation through practical, hands-on experiences. Its activities help students move from theory to creation by designing, building, testing, and improving their own solutions.
The unit offers robotics activities, coding courses, artificial intelligence workshops, maker projects, STEAM camps, school-based activities, competition preparation, and teacher training. Through these experiences, learners develop technical skills alongside creativity, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and responsible use of technology.
More than a training programme, I²Lab EduTech is a space where young learners become active creators, confident problem-solvers, and future innovators.

Meet STEAM Pirates
At the heart of I²Lab EduTech – STEAM & Robotics lies STEAM Pirates, formerly known as AKETH Pirates, the flagship youth robotics and innovation team of INEKA.
Through hands-on learning, the team brings together students, educators, and mentors to explore robotics, programming, engineering design, artificial intelligence, environmental sustainability, and digital creativity.
STEAM Pirates develops innovative projects, educational missions, and competition entries that connect technology with creativity and social impact. More than a robotics team, it is a growing community of young creators, innovators, and problem-solvers who learn by doing and collaborate to shape the future.
