The European Commission has launched the Open Research Europe (ORE) platform for scientific publications which will be accessible to all.

The platform will present the results of research funded by Horizon Europe, the EU's research and innovation program for 2021-2027, and the previous Horizon 2020 program.

The Open Research Europe platform immediately faces significant difficulties often associated with the publication of scientific results, including delays and barriers to the re-use of results and high costs.

The platform is an optional service for the beneficiaries of Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020, so that they can comply with their funding requirements for immediate open access, at no cost to them.

To date, about 40 scientific studies from different scientific fields have been submitted, which are available to the scientific community for reading and review.
