International Museum Day 2020. "The city as a digital museum". A digital action of the Antiquities Service in collaboration with the Developmental Centre of Thessaly.
As part of the celebration of International Museum Day 2020, the Antiquities Service of Trikala in collaboration with the Developmental Centre of Thessaly, created the online application / digital action entitled "The city as a digital museum".
Digital tour activities include presentations of areas of interest with videos, digitized material (such as information leaflets) and short texts as well as digital guided tours using modern technologies such as digital mapping, Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S) etc.
The places included in the digital actions are:
• The site of the Archaeological Collection of Trikala
• The archeological site of ancient Trikki
• The laboratories for the preservation of antiquities and works of art of the Antiquities Service of Trikala
• The Ottoman bath with the exhibition of surveillance material and objects of the old prisons
• The Ottoman Shah Osman Mosque and the exhibition inside.
